Riders Cafe

It was a good thing that Mel drives. If not, the friends probably won't get to try out this place easily.R liked the unique experience here. It was rare to dine in such an obscure place in Singapore and it's like in a  tiny village of sort. The place doesn't have aircon but is rather well ventilated. With the high ceilings and wide windows/balcony, it wasn't overly noisy when everyone start chatting away.

Cafe-style food is offered here. Main courses seems good but the friends opted for eggy breakfasts which are popular for a Sunday brunch.

Lastly, R must mention that the service crew (mostly local, i think) here were attentive and friendly. Hence, it was an overall pleasant dining experience.

Blackstone Benedict - eggs topped with hollandise sauce, bacon, veg

Smoked salmon & scrambled eggs

"The Usual" - the all-in one. R regretted choosing eggs benedict which has strong vinegar taste.
Calamari with lime (and maybe some asian spice).  Looks and tastes great.
sunrise smoothie - with berries, bananas
The chubby mocha. Pleasant and looks so cute with the froth.
