Tokyo: Mt Takao高尾山

R wished for fresh air and some sightseeing that wasn't too far away from the city. So, Mt Takao ikimasho!

There was fear and eager anticipation when the group members first heard of the itinerary to visit Mt Takao. The information of its trekking routes weren't very clear for the trekking amateurs to gauge the level of intensity. Anticipation coz it would be a new experience.

Weather was good. The group got enough sleep. Members did not want to disappoint R. The plan went on.

Mt Takao was less than an hour direct train ride from Shinjuku. Since it was a close getaway from city, many locals visit this place as well. R read that this place would get even more crowded during autumn when the scenery gets even better.

Takaosan Cable Car / Chairlift Station
There were various way to get up the mountain. The group chose the Cable Car (900Yen, round trip) so as to preserve energy for hiking later.

The cable car brought the group to halfway up the mountain. And, this was the Tokyo city view which R felt was just so so...
