Reminiscing Holidays

O... It's the last quarter of the year again. This part of the year usually meant busy moment at work for R, yet   she would also steal some time for vacation overseas.

The break could be impromptu trip. There was really cheap airfare to Tokyo a few years back. Hence, R seized that opportunity to revisit Tokyo again. As it was spontaneous, there weren't detailed research and planning to see, do, eat what. In return, R chanced upon a parade, visited another part of a place of interest that was missed previously and did some fruit shopping.

Kamakura's Great Buddha
Japanese Kiwi - tasted as sweet as it looked.

There was also well-planned trip for long break for as long as 3 weeks. One of such was to Japan. It was R's 1st autumn trip. Though it wasn't maiden trip to Japan, it was 1st time visiting Hokkaido and travelling long distance via train.
Train travel along Hokkaido's coast
Hakodate's Famous night scenery building up... It was definitely worth it to stay up  in  Mt Hokodate  for long hours (and battling the chilly wind) to see how the scene changed.
O... Autumn. How else to enjoy?
R was fortunate enough that taking 3 weeks break from work ain't impossible. Hence, last year was yet another long trip. Tat time to Europe. Travelling to a new continent was exciting but scary after having heard safety concerns of tourists. Carefree travelling could happen even when caution was exercised.

Flying across Africa to UK. Incredible aerial view of a place which was not on  R's "to see" list.

R seemed to like revisiting places that she enjoyed. Australia was the 1st country R had been for a long holiday. When R revisited Melbourne and Tasmania during its summer, I also had the chance to revisit my homeland. And it was extremely fun to go on the 1st ever self-drive trip.
