Nana's Green Tea
There're a few Japanese green tea dessert places sprouting in Singapore.
Nana's Green Tea is one of them. This brand is hailed from Japan where they have lotsa branches. R likes green tea dessert so, of coz, gotta try out this. Coincidentally, in that morning, R read in the papers that its owner is targeting those middle - upper class peeps. Ha! Does a visit here make R atas? Definitely not. The atas factor is in its pricing.
R picked Matcha Shiratama Slushy ($9). The green-tea ice-cream is not too sweet and it still has tinge of bitterness of the tea. The shiratama is q. It's also so smooth that half of it slipped down R's throat and almost choked her.
Another item order was the Matcha Shira Zenzai ($8.80). It consisted of the red bean soup and matcha ice-cream. The cold red bean soup is sweet and rather diluted. Hmm.. it makes R wonder if locals like the cheena thick red bean soup.
An additional note, this place doesn't only sell dessert. It offers dishes like noodles and rice too.
