Bali, Ubud: Kampung Resort

Kampung Resort  was a small lodging which was situated a little outside of the Ubud town centre. It served as a great respite for city dwellers like R's group.

The building at the background was R's lodging for 2 nights. Lovely pool area to lounge around in early morning before the sun bites.

Great effort was put in the landscaping. The building housed 2 connected rooms - one on upper floor and another on lower. 

Stairs is the only way to go in moving up and down the compound. There was yet another pond and small temple at the lowest level.

The stay at Kampung Resort was very pleasant despite a couple of hiccups in room allocation and electricity tripping. The whole atmosphere was kampung-ish at its most luxurious. The fresh air, rooster's alarm, quietness, beautiful landscaping, welcoming staff and yummy food made this place.
