Okayama 岡山: Sakura at Nishikawa River

Had checked with the hotel staff on the sakura happening. We were just in time for sakura blooms at Okayama! And, the recommended place to visit was the Nishikawa river which was somewhere between the Okayama JR station and Castle. Splendid. Little did we knew that this was to make-up for the highly anticipated sakura bloom at philosopher's path which was quite bare when we got there a week later.
