Wakayama和歌山: Kishigawa Line貴志川線

The attraction of Kishigawa line
Become interested in this line due to its kawai (cute)-themed trains, namely Tama, Ichigo and Toy. Tama's the line's icon. And, the specially decorated last station (starting from Wakayama), Kishi, revolved around it.

The Kishigawa Line was located within the JR's Wakayama station. Proceed to platform 9 for Kishigawa Line.

Follow the footsteps
On the Tama train, everything resolves around cute Tama. From the wall decals, cushiona, to hand rails, etc. There was a small corner of the other cat- Doraemon.

Friend of Tama?

The Kishi station brought many "oos" and "ahs".

Then, it was lunch time spent in Tama's station cafe.

200Yen for this puff pastry
Cute. If only it wasn't disposable.
Schedule was checked to ride on the ichgo-themed car. Unfortunately, the toy-themed train was not running then.

Strawberry-themed

It was still raining (since morning). Contemplated to go ahead alighting at Oike-Yuen station or not. Had seen some blog post on nice sakura at the gardens there. Finally, decided to go ahead to explore the seemingly deserted place. There wasn't anyone on the road, except for the a TW family who also followed.

Quiet road
The garden's on the right but sakura had wilted.
The plum blossoms.
