Just in time for limited period event at
Heian Shrine during cherry blossom season.
The Shrine staged music performance at its compound at night (for just 4 nights) giving visitors a chance to enjoy its sakura at night.
SUGOI NE! It was indeed an awesome experience. Definitely found that it totally worth the 2000Yen ticket.
Follow the designated route after passing through the ticket entrance. Was surprised that the route was actually for visitors to enjoy the night illumination before arriving at the performance area.

There weren't any seats for audience so just stood around the pond to enjoy the whole atmosphere. Music had no boundaries.
